Introduction

eDoc Organizer Network Edition enables multiple users to simultaneous access a central eDoc Organizer data repository. This product is targeted at home users with multiple computers or small business that have between 2-100 users and an office network (WAN) that can allow multiple users access to the central repository. eDoc Organizer Network Edtion has a Client-Server architecture and requires installation of a central server and multiple distributed clients.
Server Setup

The software and hardware requirements for the eDoc Organizer (Network Edition) Server are as follows:

To install eDoc Organizer (Network Edition) server start by double clicking on the setup.exe file located in the Server folder of the download package.
Note: If your computer doesn’t have the required software to run eDoc Organizer (Network Edition) Server the setup program will ask you to install those components first. Please install these required components before proceeding.
Client Setup

The following procedure is based on a Windows 7 Operating System. Some options and screen shots might be different on other flavors of the Windows Operating System.
Note: This procedure demonstrates setting up a network share with full access permissions for all users. In a production environment permissions on the share should be more restrictive to ensure security of the documents
