Love eDoc - well done!
FYI:
I use XP pro.
Problem:
When attempting to email a test doc from eDoc, it bought up Outlook, which I have had turned off for a long while now.
I use Thunderbird, latest version, as my default email.
Solution:
Went into control center, add/remove programs.
Selected preferences in left column then custom.
Under 'select default email program', the  'use current email program" was already selected.
I checked off next to "Mozilla Thunderbird" as default anyway to see what happens.
It worked.
When I go to email a doc from eDoc now, it brings up Thunderbird. Perfect.
Great program. Logical and intuitive. Thanks!!

Thank you very much for the great tip Jim. If I recall correctly, Thunderbird in XP was one of the ones that our test group had problems with as well. We just haven't had time to go back and look at the problem. Thanks to you now we dont have to Smiley. I will add your comments to the other thread incase anybody else is looking for the answer there.
Regards,
Karlie.

Revision to previous post on this subject.
Selecting Thunderbird as default under add/remove programs in the control panel only worked once.
Sorry about that.
The direct way is to open Outlook, go into Tools/ options/ other.
At top of window under general, un-check "Make Outlook the default program for email, contacts and calendar"
Testing with an open document, selecting email brought up Thunderbird each time.

You are welcome!

FYI: Just installed Windows 7 Ultimate, albeit without MS Office, and Thunderbird popped up instantly.
Thank you for a very nice program. Elegant.
Regards, Jim
