When emailing a document, eDoc is emailing a different document than selected, maybe one in the cache?  only way to email the correct document is to export it then manually email it. Advantage is I can actually *name* the document instead of it taking on the tag name. This box is Win7 x64.

Thank you for reporting the issue. I will test it out and report back. Can you please tell me which document format has this issue and the version of eDO you are using.

happens with pdf, using very latest version 2010. computer is not here, hard to test at the moment.  it seems to never email the document selected, always another.

workaround is to export then attach manually.

I am confused a little bit by your description. You refer to the document being selected as never being emailed, but in eDO the only way to email the document is to open it and then click the email button. I tested this scenario and it attaches the document that is open to the email. When you get a chance can you please provide the exact steps you are going through to attach the document to the email. This way I can follow the same procedure to reproduce the issue on my side.

program emails the wrong document, one in the cache or whatever. emailing a document works, just the wrong one. yes that document is open.

Now I export the document to a folder, then email from there, this allows me to give the document a name as opposed to the tag being the name.

Hello mingus,
    I just wanted to let you know that we have identified the issue and fixed it. The fix will be included in the next release of eDoc Organizer.
    I also wanted to let you know that we have implemented a new feature that will allow you to email selected documents from the main window. This feature will allow you to select multiple documents and email them at the same time and will also allow you to name the attachments without having to export them first out of eDoc Organizer.
